‘Everything Must Go’ at the Bargehouse

21 December 2011

DONATE A PIECE OF OLD CLOTHING AND DISCOVER WHERE IN THE WORLD IT COULD END UP!

‘Everything Must Go’ follows the journeys of worn clothing as it is sold for reuse and recycling. The exhibition brings invisible global waste economies into public view, exploring the people involved and how the trade impacts upon their lives.

In the discussion series ‘Talking Rubbish’, researchers, designers, filmmakers, business entrepreneurs and third sector leaders will critically engage with the issues raised and the implications for the way in which we think about our old clothing.

20–21–22 January 2012 / Open 11am–6pm

Bargehouse
Oxo Tower Wharf, Bargehouse Street
South Bank, London SE1 9PH

‘Everything Must Go’ is the culmination of a five year social science project ‘Waste of the World’ that investigates global waste.
